Your Igbo → English grammar tells

Igbo speakers sometimes carry over double-negatives ('I don't know nothing'); in formal English use a single negative. Also watch subject-verb agreement on third-person singular: 'she goes', not 'she go'.

Irish interviewers notice these patterns even when they cannot name them. The fix is mechanical: read your answers aloud, mark every instance, and rewrite using short sentences and 'I' rather than 'we'.
