Fill in the gaps with your own work. Simple English is fine.

Common mistakes for non-native speakers

  • Instead of "I am strong and fast": say: "I kept a steady pace and always followed the safe lifting steps". A supervisor may listen for safety as much as speed.
  • Instead of "It is not my job": say: "I would stop, tell my supervisor and wait until it is safe". Reporting a hazard is part of every warehouse job.
  • Instead of "I did many things": say: "I did picking with a scanner, packing and loading the vans". Naming the tasks and equipment helps the recruiter match you to the shift.
  • Instead of only saying "yes" to a new instruction: say: "So I start in zone C, and then I help with loading at ten?". Repeating the instruction shows you understood it.

What this site cannot tell you

These pages describe what interviewers commonly look for. They cannot tell you what a specific interviewer decided, and nothing here guarantees an interview, an offer or a visa. Practising is preparation — it shows you what to fix next.
