Interview practice in English for the people you support
EnglishJobReady helps people who speak English as a second language practise realistic job interviews and get clear, written feedback on what to fix next. Organisations can give it to many learners at once.
Free 30-day pilot
Start a free 30-day pilot for up to 25 learners. Pricing per learner after the pilot is agreed with you.
- Pilot: we set this up with you. We create your organisation account and the learner seats by hand.
- No card is needed for the pilot, and nothing is charged automatically when it ends.
- If you want to continue, we agree a price per learner with you before anything is charged.
Who it is for
Recruitment agencies, including overseas nurse and care recruitment
Your candidates practise the kind of interview they are likely to face, before the real one. Candidates practise nursing, care and other role interviews for the country they are moving to, by voice or by typing, including video-style interviews. Feedback names what a recruiter may notice: clarity, structure, examples and evidence.
Colleges, ESL schools and IELTS centres
Learners use their English in realistic job interviews, not only in exam tasks. Lower-level learners can start in simpler English and build an answer step by step before a full interview. It is interview practice, not IELTS exam preparation, and it does not predict an exam score.
Job centres and employability programmes
Clients practise for the frontline jobs they are applying for and leave each session with one clear next step. There are practice interviews for roles such as care, retail, warehouse, cleaning, hospitality and customer service. Clients can practise between appointments, on their own phone.
Refugee and immigrant charities
People new to a country practise in plain English, at their own pace, without being judged. Learners can type instead of speaking and take time to think. There is help with questions newcomers often find hard: explaining foreign qualifications, a gap in work, and starting work in a new country.
Employers onboarding non-native staff
New starters prepare for workplace conversations and internal interviews in English. Staff can practise workplace English and promotion interviews, privately, so they can speak up with more confidence at work.
What your organisation gets today
- A seat for each learner. A learner with an active seat gets full access to practice interviews, the readiness score and written feedback while the seat is active.
- An organisation dashboard where your admin invites learners by email address, sees seats used and pending invites, and removes a seat when someone leaves.
- Each learner gets their own readiness score, practice interviews and feedback, in their own account. Your organisation does not see them.
What your organisation sees
- Which seats are active, and which invites are still waiting.
- How many seats are used, out of the seats you have.
- Group totals only, if we agree them in your pilot. For example, how many learners finished a practice interview. A total for fewer than 5 learners stays hidden.
What your organisation never sees
- Any learner's answers, transcripts or recordings.
- Any learner's score, readiness result or feedback.
- A ranking of learners, or a list of the best or worst learners.
Each learner owns their results. The results stay in the learner's own account, also after their seat ends.
This is a practice tool. Please do not use it to screen, shortlist, rank or grade anyone, or to choose people for a job, a course or a place.
Not built yet
- There is no self-serve progress report for organisations yet. In a pilot, any progress information we share is group totals only, for groups of 5 or more learners, and your learners are told.
- There is no self-serve organisation sign-up or checkout. Every organisation starts with a pilot that we set up with you.
What happens after you ask
We read every enquiry and reply by email to agree the pilot set-up. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Practice helps people prepare better. It cannot promise a job, an interview, a visa or an offer for anyone.
